So today is the first day of having my almost 7 week old chicks outside and tonight when i checked on them this had happened. As far as i know everything in the coop is "chicken proof" but this beak looks like its chipped or something. Has anyone seen this before? What should i do to help her?

Looks like a simple small injury. Nothing to be worried about. Sometimes these types of marks can occur when the chickens are pecking at the feeder, especially some of the plastic types.
