Hen kicks out other hens eggs

I have one hen I hope will go broody but every time I put another hens egg in her nest I keep finding that eggs thrown out.does anyone know why.

Some hens will not except other hens eggs and only want to hatch their eggs.  Or she knows something we do not about the eggs

I live in Northeastern New Mexico. Live on a 2.5 acres with my husband of 38 yrs.(husband pass away 6/13/16), 2 dogs, 2 cats,    I have SLC, Blue laced Red Wy, Partridge Cochin, Blue, Black & White Cochins, Americanas, Cuckoo Marans Roo, Dominque Roo,  Blue Bar Roo, Buff Orps, Lavender Wy, Black & Blue French Cooper Marans, French Wheaton Marans, Cuckoo Marans , Dominque , Blue bar  Whiting...

But is she broody?

Is she on nest all day and all night...only leaving nest to eatdrinkpoop?

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

She is not broody yet.but I keep trying to add eggs from my other hens but she don't want them on her nest.she is a kelso
