Puffed up, not drinking, didn't fight me at all when I picked her up. She's inside, on a heating pad now. Other steps to take?

Two weeks ago I had a wyandotte that is a year old die out of the blue. I put the other chickens on oxytetracyline antibiotic when I found only very dark lungs in the necroposy. Chickens were done with antibiotics a week ago.

Put a glove on and put vasoline on the finger and check to see if you feel an egg. Be very careful you dont want to bust the egg. If you feel an egg put her in a little warm water and let her soak to see if she lays it. Make sure her vent is in the water.

Ok I'll check. I did get the right number of eggs today

that's good. Do you have nutridrench or electrolites to give her? I would keep her warm and in the house and see how she does. Try and get her to eat something too. Good luck I hope she pulls through this.
