Hey All!
It is my first time owning chickens, and I'm a little bit confused.
We own two chickens, both are Isa Brown chickens. They're almost 28 weeks old, and we started collecting eggs at 21 weeks. However, we are not sure which chickens the eggs are coming from and I am suspecting that one of the chickens is a rooster, this will be a problem seeing that the suburb in which we live in doesn't allow roosters. The "rooster" isn't necessarily crowing properly and loudly, but every night it will fly to the top of the coop and just make some gargling like crowing sounds. Our other chicken who we think is a hen also makes these sorts of sounds before they both go in the coop to lay of a morning. I had posted some pictures on a forum except I'm starting to be a little worried that one will be a rooster
