My name is Preston and I live in northwest Iowa. Looking for some help, recently my city voted against legalizing backyard hens. This site is such a great resource for many of the talking points. The only opposition to legalizing was local factory farms that came in and talked about how devastating avian flu was to their industry and how transport routes had to be changed in the area due to the infection. Also, a local trucking company spoke on how the route changes due to avian flu affected their jobs. I'm looking for any information that could help me persuade city council on the issue of avian flu pertaining to backyard chickens! Thank you!-Preston
