We are getting seven hens for our backyard. Two Buff Oroingtons, two Barred Rocks, and three Golden Laced Wyandottes. How big should our coop and run. How many nesting boxes should we have?

Welcome.
You need to visit the learning center and all your questions will be answered.

In a nutshell, 4 sq. ft. per bird in the coop if they have outside access. 10 sq. ft. outside. These are minimums and they always do better the more space they have.
DON'T forget to have the most ventilation as you can. 1 sq. ft. of opening per bird is best.

2 nests will be plenty, since they'll end up only using one.

Hi and welcome to BYC - you have some great advice already so I'll just say hello!

Always best to build larger than you think necessary. Chickens are extremely addictive and you will find yourself adding more and more to the flock. Have you checked out the coop sections for ideas, styles etc.?
