Hello everyone!! I'm new to this site as well as building a coop & raising chickens. Here's a lil back story.... my father in law bought 4 lil chicks for my daughters on easter. Unfortunately one if them died but I now have 3 healthy chicks growing up fast. I'm here to learn all about raising chicks & building them a nice lil coop to live in my backyard. I am from central NJ & actually looking forward to this new lil adventure!! Anyone from near or around me with any help would be great as well from this extended community.

The members on your state thread could be a good source of information and coop tips. Just type New Jersey in the search box and your state thread should pop up.

There are some great ideas on coops under the Coops tab so take a look, you might see one that's just right for you.
