Chick pipes wrong end and breaks yolk sack!

Me too, I think it was just a bad hatch and I don't think you could have saved it. It was just one time everything went wrong
he went peacefully shortly after I put him on the table. It wasn't long before he became cold and appeared to fall asleep. I left him to die in peace and when I returned this afternoon he lay exactly where I left him, didnt move a bit. So I suspect it was fairly quick and not much suffering. Rip my little chickie.

Here's a pic of the 2 Russians. Floppy is doing better and running around today.

I love how puffy and fluffy their faces are!

They are so cute!!! I'm glad it didn't suffer too long
thanks! Yeah me too. I hate it when the chicks die. It's heartbreaking.

I've got a new question. My incubator outlet failed on me today and the Temps dropped to about 87* before I saw it wasn't running. Idk how long it took to get there because this was right as I woke up this morning. So it was off who knows how long.

Are all my other eggs dead now??

That's not too cold, I would say they might be alright because the hen has to get off them to do her business. So how old are they?
