Floating air cell in non shipped eggs?

I received 18 eggs from a local breeder about 5 days ago. 2 of them appear to have floating air cells. I'm not sure how old they were as these particular two she had in a storage cooler at 50 degrees. I would assume under a week though.
What would cause the air cell to dislodge in an egg besides shipping?

I have a hen that periodically lays eggs with a detached air cell. I don't know why, it's not every egg, and I thought it had stopped, but I found out that she still periodically lays them. I have not found an absolute answer as to why this might be.

Thanks, from what I gather they can still successfully hatch if kept upright. At least one of them has an embryo growing.
I'll have to band them so they won't end up as breeders in case it's a genetic issue.
