SO we have 3 chickens. They will all be a year old in mid June. Two of them have been laying for a bit now but our Polish has yet to lay an egg. She suffered a pretty significant trauma on Feb 27th when our dog got out with the chickens and we didn't know. Fortunately she has fully recovered from that and grew back all her tail feathers. She is a very expensive chicken now! Oy! Could that trauma be effecting her laying? The vet never said anything about damage that would effect her ability to lay, in fact he told us to not eat her eggs until she was finished with her meds. That was clearly never an issue! I know they don't lay a lot of eggs but would really like her to lay something. I am also worried that maybe something did get damaged...could that cause future health issues? Thanks for the help!
