Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Recently "upgrade" to Edge?  I've heard Edge causes backwards typing.

Awww, please give Princess my condolences.

Blooie, YES!  Computer installed Windows 10 on it's own yesterday, and then the games started.

And for the rest of you:

In spite of  the rumors, there is no problem in that department.

Boxer injuries are real - be careful what you sit on.

Sore subject indeed.

No boxer nightmares - they are consigned to a back corner of the drawer.

Guess you missed my post 3 hours ago. :smack

You'll experience lots of other problems too, Sour. Your little @ tag thingy won't work right. If you try to use an emoticon from the list, it will stick it at the top, in front of the very first word of your first sentence. You'll try to highlight it and move it, and it'll reappear right where it wants to be. Uploading photos becomes a crap shoot - sometimes it will work, most times you get a message about embedding and parameters and such that are impossible to understand.

So to get BYC to work correctly, go to Edge and type in Google or Google Chrome. (I went back to Chrome) When it comes up, you'll see a box that asks if you want to make that your default browser. Yep, you do. And suddenly all is right with the BYC world again. Or you can also go to your list of programs, find Internet Explorer, which is still on your computer, and make that your default browser. Either way, ignore Edge like it wasn't even there.......that program should be pushed OFF an Edge!

No condolences necessary. The Princess is a lucky, lucky woman.

Does this phenomenon clear up on it's own or do I need to take a hammer to the unit?

Oh, I so wish I could find a way to tell you all the story of the leg shaving incident without getting tossed out of here on my ear!! It was right up there with the time I got my nose slammed in the car door.

Can't remember exactly where its at, without getting on the tablet to see, but there's an option to open in Internet Explorer. It works just fine that way.

If you previously used Internet Explorer, in Edge, below the X to close the window are 3 dots. "more actions". Click on that, then click "Open with Internet Explorer"

Should look and work like it always did before. :)
