Looks like a good place to ride a bike . Everything around here is pumped out of the ground .
Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank - Page 224
I reckon so don't know what to sell . At least some eggs and maybe one rooster and a couple of older Marans hens . I have a friend who wants some big hens but don't know what kind and didn't have time to call her today .
I can't even give extra cockerels away.
That's pretty. Looks like the trees are taking advantage of the free water.
Selling at auction you take what they bring sometimes good sometimes not so good . You can bump the bid a little but you have to be careful and know when to stop .most of the time roosters sell good if they are big . you may have a auction close to you and not know it . Older more established sale barns don't advertise much . Call the livestock auction barns in your area and ask. You might get lucky.
Most people sell at the poultry swap, and roosters usually go for $5 if they sell at all. May as well eat them for that price.
I can't find an auction near me anymore. Used to go to a great one in Royston, GA that was a lot of fun but it's been closed for a while.
