Thanks, Walnut. You guys don't realise how fortunate you are, in terms of being able to source breeds - its a nightmare here / impossible. If anyone's coming to Kenya on safari, then please bring a nice variety of birds with you

So, I lost a week old chick last night... forgot to put the cover over their brooder and the dang thing jumped out and disappeared... looked everywhere and couldn't find it... never saw nor heard a peep... super cold in the house all night and all day today... figured we would eventually find the poor dead chick someday... heard a couple peeps tonight and found it under the recliner almost frozen to death...

Could you imagine dropping that kinda thing in a conversation anywhere else? There'd be deathly silence, and you'd be on your way to the funny farm before you knew it!
