What you need welded.... I'll l throw my welder in the truck and be there in about a 6 months. I have to stop in S.C. So OZ can help me build a raft to cross the Atlantic.
Kind gesture, Phil but need it done in next 2 weeks ūüėĄ

Ok.  Looking for ideas about my hen that is a bit ill.  She was roaming around yesterday but not her usual perky self.  Picked her up and hear a snotty nose sound.  Can't hear anything in the chest.  No odor, nothing noticible from the nares.  Can't really tell if she has sinus swelling, she is crested and bearded.

Slipped into the coop and checked faces and listened for snoring last night.  Didn't see anyone else having any symptoms.  We have not had any new birds in or any visitors recently.  Could be something she picked up free rangeing but she appears to be the only one affected right now.

Gave them all some electrolytes in the water.  Not sure what else to do. idunno.gif   open to suggestions. big_smile.png
I would separate her from the others just in case. Keep a close eye on her for the day and night. Sometimes they get something stuck when eating and it can cause what you are describing. Any swelling below or in front of the eyes? Is she eating drinking and acting normally? Diarrhea? Normal poo?

What part of CA are you headed to?
The voices in my head are fighting again.

My imaginary friend is running with scissors, and one of my personalities wandered off.

I don't like to think before I speak. I like to be just as surprised as everyone else about what comes out my mouth.

Sometimes even I am afraid of the things my mind comes up with.

I start by getting a baseline weight on them, then do a thorough physical exam and poop exam. This link might be helpful.

I was born and lived in Redlands my whole life, up until the past 2 years when we moved to NM. Used to be lots of orange groves everywhere. Fun to cut through them as a kid and throw oranges at cars. smile.png

Most of the groves are gone now, but there are still houses with roadside stands and honor boxes where you can buy bags of fresh oranges. It's a bit early, but I hope we can bring some home.

Party invitation:

Dan's aunt has an amazing collection of Christmas decorations, and now decorates the mansion with them for the holidays. Tons of underprivileged kids from the area come through there for parties, fundraisers, etc. this time of year. The foundation is doing really well.

Nevertheless, she persisted.
