So see, there's a positive (I guess you could take it that way), having not thought about wine.

I was sitting in a drive-thru, getting some tacos to bring home, while I was reading. Reached for my diet coke about that time, thank goodness it was empty.

By the way Mel, if you are still here, the Serama wing question I had was about wing length/growth. I wondered if males or females get longer and bigger sooner than the other. Not necessarily how they carry them. I have a couple that seem to be way behind, growth wise. And I have a couple that are really sprouting some tail feathers!

not usually. some of mine get tail feathers longer and faster but i dont see it related to male or female. I really need to see what birds are hatching what! I only collect from my breeder pens-not my pet pens and when they hatch sometimes they go so quick all the shells are scrambled and unreadable! I have to wait til they grow out to know which pairs or trios they come from. I need to keep better records :hide

So sorry about your uncle. You've had a rough year, too.
I'm sure the hens are happy to spend Christmas grazing.

So sorry Walnut :(  My brother had to call and tell me and said he strongly debated not telling me when he heard how sick I was. But when my brother calls its either to yell at me for something or to tell me somebody died.... :idunno

Thank you everybody for your condolences and well wishes. and yes Dan that is exactly how I feel-only post fall when everything hurts-even your hair!!! :hitThank God for Amazon Prime and my husbands job! Xmas shopping almost 100% complete! I could never stand stores and people and crazy right now. But Bill has me freaked out. He said not to peak in his car because he is so proud of this gift he had specially made for me-I guess it has been in the works for awhile (and apparently he spent a lot of money on!) I do all my own shopping all the time so this freaks me out a little! He has already done so much for me and my birds and there isn't anything I really want or need right now....... I'm weirded out by surprises!!! :hu

Well, you are farther on Christmas shopping than I am. :gig  At least your expectation of a present is a good type of weird-out!

Sorry to hear about your friend.  44 is really young. :hugs Hope you feel better soon.

Nevertheless, she persisted.

Ok, sounds good. Especially since I was thinking I may only have 1 female big_smile.png

I was able to mark as they hatched, what came from my eggs and what was MPC's, and I took pics as I moved them from the incubator to the brooder. But I don't know about the ones Sara hatched, and now they all look alot alike, so I can't tell! Should have banded them. Duh. Oh well. I'll do better next time. big_smile.png

From doing Christmas early, and all that's going on at my work, and all the medical bills this year, I'm not buying nearly the stuff I usually do. Gift cards. The youngest kids will get gifts, but the older ones? Too bad. They should come around more often. Bah humbug.
