I feel ya! we dont have kids and my parents are deceased so shopping is fairly easy. we have no problem telling each other what we want or if we dont want to exchange. So each other, Bills mom dad & bro. 4 nieces and nephews 2 $25 gifts for my family exchange and a couple close friends. I used to love to go shopping but country living has far surpassed that joy!

Most of our family quit exchanging gifts a couple years ago. Kids will get gift cards, Grand-kids get the toys!  DH's parents get edibles - NM champagne, biscochitos and green chile. :D So we really don't need to do too much more shopping.

Not looking forward to driving across the desert though, so we'll probably spend the night in Kingman AZ to split up the drive

Nevertheless, she persisted.

If you do, there can be more eggs headed south in spring. Gonna be even nicer birds next year, and hopefully more moderate growth.

Well, I fell again today.  Hope this isn't going to be an 'old man' thing.  Got my feet tangled in some grapevines and crashed and burned.  Didn't hurt myself, but right now my right foot is sort of hurting.  Can't tell the Princess - she worries about me as it is.  All I could think when it happened was, "I've fallen down and can't get up."  Thankfully I can still get up.  :P

We make homemade candles for the adult gift exchange. For the in-laws, Dad gets a nice gift one year, Mom the next. Not sure what to do for my mom this year...probably a plane ticket for her brother's funeral. Our daughter gets power tools, and our son got cash to facilitate his move.

Watch where you put your feet! Seriously, though, my Mom fell and no one knew. Bad things can happen in addition to the bumps and bruises. Be safe.
