Oh, btw... we got 3 duck eggs the other day, so at least one of Salt's 2 daughters is laying now!

Strangely, I haven't gotten an egg from her in 3-4 days. hmm.png But I have lots of old ones that I can't use for eating. I was saving them for embroidery, but I already have plenty hollowed out for that.

Forgot to tell this story this morning. When I went outside this morning, only one Serama girl had come out of the coop. It was barely getting light out. As I walked around talking to everyone that was already out, the rest of the seramas started filing out. Well, little Chuck must have woke up fiesty and started chasing Larry around the pen! Then he started on the girls. I've never seen him act that way! What the heck?

We got about 11" on Sunday/Monday.  Nothing since, but we are supposed to get a bit more tonight.  It's been cold, so we still have what fell.

I guess Escanaba got over a foot. But we still only have maybe 4 inches. That's not enough for the cold temps coming our way. That frost line is gonna be deep this winter. I worry about my Sequoia tree..... sad.png
