Is that normal? The zip looks like it's going the wrong way...or is that even enough of a crack to be considered a zip?

Meanwhile egg #2 has a hole!
(Exposure changed on this pic as well)

That was a nice surprise to come home to 😌.

I don't think I'll get much sleep tonight lol.

I would give them some more time. Remember, it's best NOT to open the incubator after day 18 (as tempting as it might be!). Do you know what the humidity is?

Breeds I raise: Easter Eggers, Naked Necks, PROJECT white d'Uccles, Mille fleur d'Uccles, RI reds, Barred PR's, Assorted Cochins, GLW's, Sexlinks, Mutts, and one Lavender Orpington!

Turkeys: Bourbon Red ~ Standard Bronze

Ducks: Blue ripple and black Muscovys

My humidity is 62%...or so the incubator reads; and that's with water in all the wells.

This is so exciting, I am just so happy that even with a crappy incubator, I got a beautiful offspring of my late Roo

Congratulations! smile.png

Japanese, OEG, Sebright, Brahmn, d'Uccle, and EE bantams; and RIR, BR, and EEs, Golden Penciled Hamburg, EEs, Anconas, Bielefelders, Wheaten Marans, Speckled Sussex, and a surprise variety of bantams with breeds tbd!

16 guineas and 2 turkeys to round out the flock

Another victim of poultry math. Aiming for a "designer" flock and egg basket :)
