Frizzle? - Page 2

Agree with JaeG (who gave excellent photos and explanation of frizzle).

 

Your little chick looks to be a Buff Orp with a "bad hair day" that is common when they are going from fluff to feather...they can get pretty scruffy until the "real" feathers grown in.

 

Color, comb, and skin color all indicate a Buff Orp on track.

Our place just gets crazier and crazier! Chickens~ Abe, Darryl, Poppy, Daisy, Crossbeak, Poofhead, Brownie, Daffodil, Peaches, Caramel, 4 new feed store babies, plus 3 waiting to hatch under Brownie! 5 guineas, plus 5 waiting to hatch under a chicken! 1 Pit/Lab mix~Java; 1 German Shepard Mix~Max; 1 extra evil cat~Pud.
And of course, us humans!

Thank you for the feedback! Now that I've seen more pictures of frizzles, the word "adorable" is even an understatement! I HAVE to have a couple!
