Hi all. What age does a cockerel start to crow? Thanks

It varies from breed to breed and from bird to bird within breeds. I have had bantam cockerels crow while still in the brooder and large fowl cockerels that have not crowed until 8 or 9 months of age.

Oh really!!!! Well I'm hoping mine will never crow
really want it to be a hen!!!! Don't want to rehome it
