I bet your hens were really confused.  LOL!!

I'm not really sure if and/or how it affected them...if it did, it wasn't anything drastic or I think I would have noticed....time will tell.

Was SHM all day, but have written it off to 'Oh, Well'<shrugs>.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

I wonder what it's like for chickens in very northern locations - very long days of light part of the year and then very long days of dark!
