If we get a lot of post it's going to be a problem doing all of you guys but I will try, and if I don't see you or you don't get a answer just PM (private message) me and I would love to help.

Hi Jenna14Chicken! Everyone says cockerels, but I want your opinion too.

Peekaboo

Penny

Hi twinslovechicks do you mind posting pics of there wings straight out if you can get them? I think they are roos also but the pic of their wings would help a lot. :) Thanks

I have a couple of "auction house" hens that are either much older than they were supposed to be or not hens. After 8 weeks, they are still not laying. They also try to crow, but really stink at it. I think they're just aged out of egg-laying, not roos. I'll post pics as soon as I can get one of my kids to take some for me. They're very affectionate, so I like them anyway, but I was hoping for a few eggs. We have Roy to crow for us, and don't need more (even though I suspect that Sheldon is a roo-a lovely cochin bantam-about 8 1/2 weeks). I'll try to get my daughter to take a few pics for me later, then post them.

I know best pics show wings, and comb from the side.

Can you hold the wings straight out like this

400

And then the comb straight on like this

400

That would be great if everyone could do this and a full body pic thanks

Yes thank you I would say that is a female and you will be getting some eggs before long! But if you don't no already no way is 100% accutate.
