Does anyone grow fodder for their hens? Is this common? Do they like it? Is it okay for them? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I grow Sunflower microgreens for my birds & myself.

edit: the smoothie ingredients include Pea Shoots, not Sunflowers.
You can find whole peas at an ethnic grocery store.
Peas work best when the weather is cool. Sunflowers love it hot.
People usually buy organic seed but I use the big $18 bags of Black Oil Sunflower seeds sold as birdseed.

I am growing a mix of barley, wheat, rye, black oil sunflower, and some red clover seed. They love it! I do chop the fodder a bit for my younger ones-I have some 11 wk old pullets and some even younger at about 5 wks and they all get special treatment.
