We have 13 one-week old polish chicks. Last night one of them started cheaping incessantly and running around the brooder. It's almost like she's looking for a way out bc her neck is stretched up and she is trying to look up over the side of the brooder (kiddie pool). She did it more when the other 12 layed down to sleep. Finally she layed down and went to sleep too, but is back at it this morning. They have food, clean water and the brooder temp is right under 90 degrees. I took her out last night and massaged her crop in case there was something making her uncomfortable. I also gave her a couple drops of poly visol and added a little ACV to there water. The other chicks seem perfect happy. Is she sick? Injured? I'm desperate for answers bc the cheaping is driving everyone nuts and I can't figure out how to help her!
