Im in the south and the area where we built out coop is being overtaken by Kudzu, briars, and other wild plants.  Currently there are no chicken in the coop as we have 2 week olds in the brooder still.  My question is should we pull these plants and re-clear the coop area or will the chickens take care of these plants once they are introduced to their run?

I'd love to hear about the plants in general, but also specifically about Kudzu - I know they can eat it post-harvest, but is it safe to eat straight from the plant?

Similar question...  they can eat Kale, Tomatoes, Corn, etc post-harvest, but if they were allowed to free-roam our garden would that be safe for them (I'm aware they would tear the garden to pieces, but using this hypothetical to get an idea about what growing plants chickens can safely eat)

I'm new to chickens so any advice would be helpful!
