Do Quail Genetics Exsist?

I did read somewhere that only PURE buttons can be genetically bred but I probably dont have those XD And I also read that even if you breed one colour to the same colour you'll get other ones thrown in XD Welp I'll find out about the time of summer! (they'll hopefully be laying and then I can hatch the last week before summer :) )
 
So, looking at that calculator, I gather:
Dominant:
Golden Pearl, Pied(tuxedo), Blueface
Recessive:
White, Silver, Cinnamon, Red breasted

(yay, means my tuxedo and blueface males might give me tuxedo and blueface offspring even though their girls are wild colored^^)
 
You're welcome. I found the link to a site from an old thread here in the quail forum. That site had links to the calculators. Unfortunately I can't remember what I typed in the search so I can't find that site again. I bookmarked the calculator but not the other site. I know the basics on dominate and recessive genes but I don't know enough about genetics to understand the calculator completely. It really makes it easy to see what results you would get from different pairings.

Just to add, it is much easier if you select the alternate drop-down menu option (above that orange language box on the right). Well, it's a lot easier for me
