Very Sick Quail! Help please!

Are you trying to say that 33 C is higher than 38 C? Do you know that quails can handle any heat a human can as long they aren't harassed into flight constantly. If you provide them enough water they will have no issue in even if temperature is 45 C. They can even survive -1 C if you can provide them a place to keep their feet out of snow. Don't take my comments as being hostile please.

I didn't, they can survive -10, you need to understand that a really humid hot place has a different effect than a place that's a couple degrees lower but much drier. You also must have different conditions that you keep your birds in than he does. I just offered a suggestion i could be wrong but i still think it's not disease related but rather weather.

They have plenty of shade. they are under a big shade tree and the cage has a large plywood cover and all 4 and top and bottom sides are wire. I have had 1/2 the birds outside last summer with no problems. I lost one bird 2 days ago and lost another one this morning. They all have plenty of water. Any other ideas besides heat?
