Is Chick Starter Grower the same as simple Grower, and do I still need to use medicated? My chicks are now 8 weeks old.

You probably don't need medicated unless you can't keep the bedding dry.
Starter/grower is likely different than grower. Size wise, starter/grower is crumbled smaller than grower.
What's important is nutrition. Have you read the ingredient label or the feeding instructions on the back of the bag?
It's all there.
Starter is usually a bit higher in protein than grower but not always. It is on the label.
