They are only about 2 wks old and I have been treating them for Cocci with Corid...well now I think I have a different problem and the one runt just isn't growing at all...and I don't feel her crop emptying. It feels more fluid like then the other 3 chicks in with her and it's probably bc I'm not seeing her eat regular food and she's only taking in the yogurt I am offering her every couple hrs...I'm afraid to force her to drink water bc I read it can make it worse? What can I do? I have zero experience with crop issues...thank you. She's just getting smaller and smaller by the day it seems and everyone else is doing just fine.

If all this little chick is eating is yogurt, it could be the reason for her crop feeling "liquid".

It's rare for sour crop to occur in tiny chicks. And if this chick is not growing, you probably have a chick with "failure to thrive" syndrome. Due to genetic defects, a chick can't process nutrients and grow normally. They usually have very short lives, and there isn't much that can be done.

I'm sorry I can't be of much help.

That makes sense...no, I totally get it. I have fought a good fight with her. She seems like she eats here and there and is still drinking a little so I will watch her and any signs of stress have to put her down if that's the case :( Part of me is hopin she just got the worst of the cocci and is having the hardest time getting over it but I am realizing it may be something else I can't fix or control either

I appreciate it...
