What to feed free-rangers

There's always Scratch and Peck feed. My birds loved it, but there was a lot of waste. It is expensive. It was suggested to me to wet it down a bit before feeding, but I never tried that as I had already gone over to Purina. Both for my chicks, and layers. If eggs are an indication of how good the feed is, then Purina is very good. My girl's eggs are strong, and my chicks grow at a good rate. I think that Purina and Nutrina make the best livestock (notice I said livestock, not dog or cat) feeds because this is what those companies were originally built for.
