Hello everyone, I have a question for you all. We have three Bantam Appleyard Ducklings and we are debating on their sex. My wife is thinking we have two Hens and a Drake, I'm thinking just the Opposite, two Drakes and a Hen. Any other opinions would be helpful. I know we could just wait a few more weeks for their feathers to finish growing in but that's no fun...

HAPPY HATCHING EVERYONE.!!!!

They sure are pretty ducks. When they get about 6 weeks old you can tell by the voice. The females will quack and the males will make a low raspy sound.

Thanks pattyhen, yeah I think we'll have to wait a few more weeks to find out. One of them makes a quick whistle sound, like it's trying to get your attention, but can't catch who's making it.

The one on the top left in the first picture looks like it has a drake head. Compare his voice to the other two. They are plenty old to vent sex to know for sure but you can probably voice sex at this point.
