Black Copper Maran

Typically, who feathers out first...male or female? I got 2 on 4/9 and they were around the same age, if not the same hatch date...only a few days old when I got them. Now, one of them has lots of feathers (tail & wing) but the other doesn't. It's got some feathers on the wings but no tail feathers.

I haven't noticed a pattern yet after having had 12 cockerels. :) Some feathered in slowly, and others feathered in at the same rate as everyone else. It just depends on the bird in my opinion. :D
