There are white Favorelles.
Not willing to sell yet I ordered him from cackle hatchery he's LF I don't believe cackle sells white faverolles
There are other color Faverolles, but they are extremely rare. White, black, blue, buff, mahogany, and most recently lavender have existed in the US but finding them will be more difficult than the salmons. Lavender is probably the easiest to find. Laurel is working on the those, and maybe lavender salmon. Ron Patterson's flock of LF whites went to Leisha Comer in Ohio. I think she is still trying to increase their numbers and is unlikely to have any available. There are a handful of black, blue and mahogany flocks around. I think the buffs are gone.
No hatchery has white Faverolles. They are almost extinct in the US. Cackle does have the occasional white show up. Paso Fino Farm in TX had occasional whites pop up too. If you plan on trying to seriously breed whites you should try to find some blacks to use with him instead of salmons. Salmon tends to leak through the white, especially on the hens.
Well, I am very good at hatching males! 75% isn't uncommon. One year I got so frustrated I gave the eggs to some broody silkies instead hoping they would do better. They did, but in the wrong direction. Every egg hatched, but every chick was a cockerel. They were fired.
I just have a mixed flock of birds I let do there thing I have a lot of interest in breeding certainly breeds especially blue laced buff wyandottes I just don't have that many coopsThere are other color Faverolles, but they are extremely rare. Sorry for your loss.I'm late to this but I would love to have a favorelle roo. I lost mine due to surgery complications. He was a stunningly beautiful bird. The two girls we hatched are equally majestic.
Thanks. Pictures of your roos? Elvis?! Really?Sorry for your loss.
I have two cockerels right now and they kinda look like Elvis.
