I have a little silkie chick that I got from a local breeder. It's a yellow/buff color with a black spot on its head. It's wings look like they are turning black and white. I would like to know if it's a splash or a paint? Thanks. :)

Unfortunately I can't post pictures on here anymore. Some glitch keeps happening and won't let me post. I can post old pics when I go to desktop but can't get recent pictures I've taken. I'll try though..

I posted a pic up a few pics. It's the yellow with a black spot on its head. You can see the wings kind of look grey. In person they are more cream/golden with little strips of black. I just couldn't get a good picture. I thought it would be biff but now I'm not so sure. I know the father was lavende..

Silkies These Days Are Getting Harder To Tell Which Colors They Are. But You Can't Usally Tell Which Colors They Are Till They Get Bigger It Took Me 2 Months To Figure Out What Color Was My Blue Splash Female But I Sold Her As A House Pet Due To Her Not Laying. I Have This Boy He Is My 4-6 Month Old Bearded Silkie Roo And It Is Hard To tell What He Is Because He Looks Buff, Red, Or The Lighter Color Partridge But If You Look At Him, He Has Greyish Black Spots, With Some Black Streeks, So I Think He Is A Buff, Or Red, Just Has A Splash Markings, His Father Is A Splash Roo, So I'm Thinking He Has Some Of It, But It Is Hard To Tell What Yours Might Turn Out To Be If It Has Black Stripe Markings..I Found This Post That Has 3 Buffs And 1 White Silkie But The 2 Buffs Have Black Stripes At The Wings Are They Kinda Like That? https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/894666/i-think-i-have-silkies-help-me-identify

Mine looks like the back of yours in the first pic. I'm still learning so I didn't realize it takes so long to notice color. It will be exciting to see how it turns out. :)
