What is the difference from paint silkies to splash silkies?

How did you figure out the gender? I've heard silkies are really hard to sex. I'm curious cause it will be awhile before I can tell. That I'll admit is seriously frustrating lol. I just want to know who are roos and who are hens... :)
 
I Can Usually Tell Between 2-4 Weeks My Male Bellow Was Starting To Get A Little Mowhawk Like Thing With Spurs Fourming Out Of It, And The Feathers Around The Face Start To Thin And You Can See
Its Black Skin And On The Beak Area You Can Start To See Small Round Bumps On Head Between The Eyes . My Female I Will Take A Pic Soon, She Started To Get A Poof On Top But No Spurs, And The Poof Starts To Look Like Its Gonna Go Around The Eyes. I Bought My Male At A Tractor Supply And They Grabbed Them By The Neck If They Sqirm Then Its A Boy If It Don't Its A Female But Thats Not True They Said My Boy Was A Female But He Is A Male

Thanks. I'll update in a few weeks and let you know if I see any of those traits. I'll try to post pics too lol. I'm hoping to get Adleast 1 roo. :)
