Hi all,  I grew up helping my grandma with her egg layers and I raised every kind of chicken when I worked at a Egg Hatchery.  I cannot have any kind of birds now because I work grading hen eggs.  SOme day when I retire I would like to create a araucana frizzle chicken and I hope to do more egg research this site seems to have the most knowledge I have found even over my college texts.  THank you

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Hi welcome-byc.gif

Glad you could join the flock! I'm a lover of all frizzle chickens love.gif I just like the fact they are so different to look at. What a shame you can't keep birds of your own yet but totally understandable with the job that you have. Wishing you the very best of luck with getting a flock started when you retire. For now enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat frow.gif

The thing with frizzles is:  frizzle bred to frizzle  will produce bald, or broken feathered  offspring.  So you have to have some other non frizzle type to breed to.You may want to check out "Frizzle threads,"
