my chick has a broken toe

i have a verry small fuzzy cooco maran and i was walking by and i say he face down in the shavings i picked her up to see that he toe was squeshed i dont know if it was the skin but some of the swelling has gone downand it is broken or somthing on her toe PLEASE HELP I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!
 
Welcome to BYC. Broken toes usually don't require any treatment, but I would really like to see a picture of it if you can post it. Make sure that she is not being bullied, and that she is safe. Sometimes a dog cage with food and water, placed inside the coop or run with the other chicks is a good way to limit activity.
 
Hello and welcome to BYC! Could you post a picture of your chick's injury? Clean the foot so there is no dirt or anything on it, so you can see better what has happened and make sure there is no cuts that would get infected. If it is really broken an option is to try making some type of splint. You could use part of a popsicle stick and tie it on. Your chicken should do fine, even if you don't treat it. The worst that will happen with a broken toe is the chicken will walk with the toe somewhat bent, not a big deal. Like Eggcessive said limit activity, and it'll heal fine.
