Have anyone herd of the myth that if a chicken gets her feet wet they won't lay a egg that day or the next day. I don't think it's true but does anyone have any input on this?

Being that it rains here all the time and my hens have no issues standing in puddles, I would never get eggs if that was true. I can say with certainty that is, as you said, a myth.

let tell you that it is not true. I live in Houston and I still have standing water in my yard. They have been wet quite a bit and have not missed a beat.
