Looking for info;
This evening found a freedom ranger broiler (10.5 weeks old). That can't get up and is off balance. Seems to be leaning backwards towards it "Middle of Hock Joint". The hock joint seems to be a bit worn from sitting/laying on it. Could this be fat and off balanced or Mareks?
These birds are heavy and are about ready for the freezer. None of them roost. They just plop down. Also, they all have extra thick feet and kind of walk awkwardly. They almost stomp their feet when they are in a rush.
This is our first time with freedom rangers.
Fed organic feed. Not free ranged typically.
