Product Tester Needed for Incubator Monitor

Thread Starter

I am looking for an experienced BYC user and hatcher to test a new piece of technology that is currently in development. I have used it on my last two hatches with excellent results. The test unit is yours to keep. Must be an experienced hatcher, have wifi connection, smart phone, starting a hatch within the next month, and willing to write a product review. Please reply or PM if you are interested. Thank you.

What's this product supposed to do?

Connects to your wifi and monitors temperature and humidity and sends the data to your smart phone via an app. Also logs history. Enables the user to monitor this information from anywhere with the app on their phone (screen shot).  Sends an alert to phone if there is a problem (low/high temp).

I hatch weekly. Using 3 tabletop incubaters.. all of them have been upgraded to digital thermostats they all hold nice temps.. I get great hatches since rebuilding them.
I can see alerts to my phone would be helpful.
Can this product be used with mutible incubaters?

Yes it could with multiple sensors, with a single control box. The phone app could have multiple tabs, one for each incubator. However, I am currently looking for a single unit for testing purposes. I also use multiple digital tabletops, as well as a redwood cabinet incubator.  I work, and am away from home often. Now I can just look at my phone without having to check the incubators. Also, the low/high temp alert (for instance if the incubator malfunctions or heater fails) the user will be notified on a low temp alert (phone popup) and could remedy the problem before losing their entire hatch.

I'm probably not the person for you. For a single unit testing. . I'm sure others on here will give it a try
