Hey! So I went to my friend's school and she had one chick hatch from her project as well. So Salsa now has a companion and her name is Penguin. Here is a pic of them.

The kids will be going to their new home Memorial Day. I have to be careful with Salsa though bc I have noticed that she is starting to spread her wings and wants to fly. Lol! Ive caught her out of the box a few times.
 
Aw! Your chicks are sooooooo cute! I am having some minor complications with my incubator, and my hen hasn't yet incubated the eggs. I am so worried that by the time the incubator is ok for the little eggs , the embryo ' s of the 9 bantam lakenvelder eggs will be dead. If u have any advice plz tell me.

Maybe you should get her a box with higher sides. If she gets out and you don't see her she could get injured. I bet you will miss them when they are gone! It's nice you have a good friend with a place for them to go when you can't keep them any more.
