Hi there 
I'm an Aussie mum to three small humans and carer to 3 fish, 2 cats and most recently, 15 coturnix quail which are so far a funny little bunch to watch. I've always loved chickens with my dear Chooka as my first pet when I was younger - she had serious sass but was super affectionate, but currently renting and not having a great deal of space means I turned to quail keeping to fill the void. Surprised so far at how different it is to keeping chooks but I find great peace in trudging outside in the early cold hours of the morning with a cup of tea and watching them do their funny little things. Looking forward to surrounding myself - at least online - with people who get this whole addicted to chickens (and quails) thing!
