Rooster??

i got two RIR and one americauna this past march (2016). it appears the one with a comb may be a rooster?? both the RIR have green feathers, however this one seems more developed than the others.

please advise.

:welcome  The EE is a pullet.  The RIR to the right is a cockerel, and the other may be a cockerel also.  Can you show a head shot of the bird to the left?

here is a side profile of the ither as you requested. we didnt handle these three as much as our ithers and these are more skiddish/bot as friednly as out other girls. right now i have a hen setting. we have had them 1.5 years and none have ever set until now. could the cockerel have fertilized an egg?

Hens can go broody even if they don't have eggs under them.  Sometimes they sit on rocks, or on  empty air.  What can you do?  They are chickens not brain surgeons. If your rooster has been with them, they could have fertile eggs.
