The Coop is Getting Close

You can get an idea from this pic. I'm going to use wood panels that I have as siding when it's all finished. The gals are getting close to needing this thing!!

Looks like a well thought out plan.    I'm sure the excitement is building up to when you let new residents in,

Keep posting additional pix as progress continues.    Ask questions on things you may not be  totally sure of.

Put the access doors on today and built the chicken ladder. No to add wire, trim, paint, and a roof. :D

Needs more windows for light and ventilation.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!
