Naked neck on one of my ducklings

I am wondering what this naked neck is. The duckling has had it pretty much it's whole time out and the other 3 do not have this naked neck. When I say naked I mean there's barely any feathers on it. Not sure on breed as the eggs I was hatching were mystery eggs.

That looks like some kind of abrasion or injury.

Can the little one stick his or her head through the fence? Is there anything hot or abrasive nearby?

Who else handles or has access to the ducklings?

How old is it?

I would add Sav-a-chick or gro-gel or some kind of supplementation, rinse the neck with mild saline solution to prevent infection.
 
It was actually kind of born that way. It can stick it's head through the cage. It's too cold at the age they are to be outside. Nothing hot is near by. They definitely can't reach the heat lamp and the lamp isn't inside. My mother has handled them and my son. They are a week old Sunday(tomorrow where I'm located). I will treat it with the mentioned things though. This duckling actually had a trip out of its egg. It came out and it's umbilical cord wasn't detached and it was dragging its shell all around the incubator. I cut its cord because I wasn't sure on the damage that could have on it getting tugged. But it's the only duckling with a hard kinda bigger imbilical scab. Not sure if that has anything to do with it I just know it was kinda born with a pink neck almost instantly.
 
There is a Naked Neck duck breed developed in France. Its possible your duckling has the same gene mutation. Google "naked neck duck" or "canard cou nu". Where are you located, i've been looking to aquire the naked neck trait, if you're not overly far and willing to sell him/her.

I wouldn't mind selling them if they have this mutation. I'm located in Southern California. I am giving antibiotics right now to be on the safe side. But the duckling doesn't seem to act ill or have strange behavior so it just might be the mutation if nothing is wrong with it.
