We have a year old NH Red chicken whose colored leg band was cutting into her leg. We took the bands off ALL the flock, and she seemed to be doing okay, but now, 3 weeks later, she seems to have an abscess on the leg and is not using it at all. I have seen Epsom Salt bath recommendations and will try that, but am unsure what else to do. She seems to get around fine on one leg, but want to treat the issue as soon as possible. Any advice is helpful.Thanks fellow chicken fans!
