Hello!
I need help determining the sex of my three 2 month old chickens! I have one black australorp and two golden comets. The golden comets were supposed to be sexed based on color when they hatched, but I suspect one is a cockerel! I also suspect the same of my black australorp, as well!
Below are some pictures, and I'd love some other opinions as I am a brand new chicken owner. The golden comet pictured with my australorp is the suspected cockerel. I've also pictured its tail feathers, as they are different from the other comet. The comet pictured by the plant is my suspected pullet.
I must also mention that I heard what sounded like a "kazoo" coming from my coop this morning, but not sure who it is. I can only assume that this means at least one is a little roo.
