Hi everyone, so I'm new to this forum. I live in a condo complex and we have two male Muscovy ducks and two females. I have two dogs as does my neighbor. This morning, we noticed the ducks were all gathered under my neighbor's stairwell. We both kept our dogs away from them but I know they were stressed. They all left the area and we noticed there were 6 eggs in a makeshift nest under the stairwell. I left around 3pm and the ducks were no where to be found. I came back at 5 and left shortly after, still no ducks and this time I noticed the eggs had been moved slightly (not sure if the nest was disturbed or if the Momma duck did this?). My neighbor texted me at 8:30 that they still weren't back. I returned around 10 and we noticed they are still MIA. We let the eggs be, but we weren't sure if this was normal? Most of my google research says the female duck will lay on the eggs for all day minus an hour, give or take. Do you all think the eggs are okay? Should we bring them inside tomorrow if she still isn't back? I don't want them to die but I also don't want to disturb her nest. Any advice would help! Neither of us are farm-savvy but we are both animal lovers!
