Chicks Really Want To Be Outside. OK? - Page 2

First night in the coop/run mine huddled by the gate. I picked one up and set her on the ramp by the door and she walked in, the others followed. They had it then.

Currently "we" are myself, Sydney my female chow/golden retriever mix, Annie a lab mix and one each silver laced Wyandotte, gold laced Wyandotte, Buff Orpington, and Americana.

I moved my chicks out quite early on as I had a broody hen used of a heat lamp I think as long as they are in a ark it would be fine to leave them out over night

Thanks everybody for the replies! They did great! I did have to pick them up and put them in, but they have gone in and out multiple times today. I'm 99.9% sure I have one rooster and he seems to be leading the way and teaching the ladies. Unfortunately, he will have to go when he first crows. Luckily, I already have a home lined up.
