Duck with Broken Foot

We have a Blue Swedish Duck that appears to have broken its out most toe on its left leg a few days ago more than likely. We free range our birds so we didn't see how it happened we just noticed that she was limping. We caught her and put her in a small cage so she can't keep running around on it but there is visible swelling around the break. Is there anything further that we should do for her?
 
I would to Epsom salt compresses and put a tiny dab of something like T-Relief ointment on it.

Perhaps you could splint it somehow, using something like cardboard and vet wrap....
